Started as a series of experiments to better care for our rare house plants from the Araceae family (Aroids).
There are many generic plant care products on the market, but they aren’t specifically catered to Aroids, especially the epiphytic and hemi-phytic ones (such as most philodendrons, anthuriums and some monsteras).
THICCLY products are designed to offer better care for such aroids.

- An epiphyte is an organism that grows on the surface of a plant.
THICCLY’S GrowPole simulates the natural climbing surface environment for Aroids. By providing a moist, tree bark-like environment, it promotes the climbing behavior of aroids, which triggers morphogenesis, producing larger leaves.
- Epiphytes derive its moisture and nutrients from the air, rain, or debris accumulating around them. Typically, such debris runoff has poorer NPK values than the top soil of the forest floor.
THICCLY fertilisers have low NPK values to emulate this environment, preventing fertiliser burn. THICCLY fertilisers are applied “weakly, weekly”, so feeding your plant becomes a habit.

In addition to being gently formulated to emulate nature, THICCLY fertilisers are enhanced by scientific research.
Aroids grown at home are typically grown for their beautiful leaves, but they are flowering plants. It is usually preferable not to induce inflorescence, as flowers direct energy away from the growth of their beautiful foliage.
THICCLY’s fertilizers have low or zero phosphorous value for this very reason.

THICCLY GrowPole is easy to assemble and made from recycleable PET or PP plastic.
All cutouts are recycled at the factory, leaving no waste from trimming of plastic mesh or zip ties.
