Started as a series of experiments to take better care of our rare house plants from the Araceae family (Aroids).
There are many generic plant care products on the market, but they are not specifically catered for Aroids, especially not for the epiphytic and hemi-phytic ones (most philodendrons, anthuriums and some monsteras).
THICCLY products are catered towards better care for such Aroids.

An epiphyte is an organism that grows on the surface of a plant.
THICCLY’S GrowPole simulates the natural climbing surface environment for aroids. By providing a moist tree bark like environment, it promotes aroid’s climbing behavior, which triggers morphogenesis that produces larger leaves.
Epiphytes derives its moisture and nutrients from the air, rain, or from debris accumulating around it. Typically, such debris runoff which has poorer NPK values than the top soil of the forest floor.
THICCLY fertilisers have low NPK values to emulate this environment which prevents fertiliser burn. THICCLY fertilisers are applied “weakly, weekly”, so feeding your plant becomes a habit.

Apart from being gently formulated to emulate nature, THICCLY fertilisers are enhanced by scientific research.
Aroids grown at home are typically grown for their beautiful leaves, but they are flowering plants. It is usually preferable not to induce inflorescence, as flowers direct energy away from the growth of their beautiful foliage.
THICCLY’s fertilisers have low or zero phosphorous value for this very purpose.
